First day of no TV and more

Today kicks off the No TV or video games week at Truman Elementary and we are determined to make it work! Today was Sunday and we don't normally watch TV or play video games any way so it wasn't that big of a deal but we will have to see how well we do tomorrow.
This month has been so hectic. The kids started school, which has been going great. Aaliyah is now in first grade and she is learning so much already. She reads so well and lately her math tests have been coming home with 100%. She says she loves school. I hope this attitude keeps up through high school :) Dallin started afternoon kindergarten. It was hard at first because he was pretty shy about going in without mom. But he is doing better now. He is starting to learn how to read. He gets very excited about it and we are proud of his enthusiasm.
Aaliyah and Dallin also started soccer. Aaliyah is great at following the ball and kicking it down the field. Dallin is an amazing goalie. When the ball comes his way he literally dives for it. Every time.
The hardest thing this month however is when Joseph was in the hospital with a blood clot in his lung and leg. We are very blessed to still have him around and I thank Heavenly Father every day for his continuing health. We are so thankful for every one who has prayed for him. And who showed there love and support for him while he was in the Hospital. He is doing great now back in school and work full swing .
So that pretty much raps up September. Its been really busy which is why I haven't been blogging. Plus I cant find the usb cord for my camera so now pictures till i buy a new one :(

crap! over a month and no new post.... didn't someone just get mad at me a little while ago for not blogging??? LOL just giving you crap. I am glad Joe is doing better. I love him, he is the coolest! Good luck on the no TV no video games. I hate having the tv on all the time so now that jason is gone for the week it will hardly ever be going on. :)

Glad that Joe is doing much better. It is amazing the things we take for granted sometimes. Good luck on the No TV. It is wonderful if you can do it - it is surprising the time you have for different things.
Love ya!!
